Lets talk about Monthly subscription boxes…oh my goodness they rock!!!

So the hottest new things are these Monthly subscription boxes like Cause Box, Mostess or Stitch Fix. How fun!! I love getting something in the mail and who doesn’t love a surprise? Well except what if the stuff that shows up isn’t exactly what you wanted? What if you just bought some of the same stuff in the store last week? Guess what… I have a solution

I’ve been getting a monthly subscription box for the last 6 years. doTERRA calls this Monthly subscription box their Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) but I like to think of it as a Lifestyle Rewards Program (still LRP.) Here’s the cool thing… I get to choose EXACTLY what I want in my box. I also get to choose how much or how little I order. Not only that I also get shipping rewards AND I earn a percentage of my order back in points that I use to get more free stuff.

What could be better than that?

Someone recently asked me to share what I get in my Lifestyle Rewards Box so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Every month I have certain “staples” that I always order but then every month I change things up depending on what I’m going to focus on for the month. Well for March I’m going to focus on Spring Cleaning. I know I live in MN and we won’t actually see spring for 2-3 months but I’m an eternal optimist.

A Citrus oil, I change this up every month since there are so many choices. This month I need a Tangerine.

Here are some tried and true Natural Cleaning Recipes that I absolutely LOVE!

Glass Cleaner

Ingredients:
16-ounce spray bottle

1 1/2 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup distilled water

8 drops of any citrus oil of your choice (could use Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Wild Orange, or a combination)

 Directions:

Add vinegar, water, and essential oil(s) to spray bottle and shake. You are ready to clean!

Refrigerator and Microwave Cleaner

Ingredients:

1 cup white vinegar

2 cups hot water

15 drops of Lemon essential oil

 Directions:

1. Combine the ingredients in glass spray bottle.
2. Spray mixture inside fridge or microwave, then scrub and wipe using damp cloth.

DIY: Citrus Air Freshener

Ingredients:

8-ounce glass spray bottle

1/2 cup distilled water

20 drops essential oil

Directions:

1. Combine water and essential oil in glass spray bottle. You can use more or less essential oil depending on how strong you want the aroma.
2. Shake before each use. You can use on furniture, carpet, in your car, bathroom, or anywhere else you want freshened!

DIY: Spring Fling Room Spray (Also makes a great “Spray Before You Go” toilet spray)

Ingredients:

20 drops Lemon
20 drops Grapefruit 
20 drops Lime 
Distilled water 
Glass spray bottle 

Directions: In a glass spray bottle, add essential oils and top with water. Depending on the size of your spray bottle, you may wish to add more essential oils. That’s all! Just give that bottle a shake and spray to your heart’s content.
